Role Summary:

As a Senior Cybersecurity Analyst in the healthcare industry, you will play a critical role in safeguarding IT systems and data by monitoring, evaluating, and improving security controls, policies, and configurations. This role involves managing cybersecurity alerts, responding to threats, and performing in-depth threat analysis to ensure compliance and the security of enterprise systems.

Key Accountabilities:

Threat Management:

• Monitor and respond to Security Operations Center (SOC) alerts.
• Conduct cyber threat analysis and investigate potential security breaches.
• Perform ethical hacking and simulate security breaches.

Vulnerability Assessment:

• Manage and perform vulnerability assessments using scanning tools.
• Ensure major alerts are remediated and tracked.

Security Compliance:

• Evaluate and score IT security assessment feedback from internal and external parties.
• Review and enhance the security design of new and existing projects/applications.
• Assess compliance of cloud applications and maintain an information security risk register.

Endpoint and Tool Management:

• Manage Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) tools and enforce endpoint device compliance.
• Monitor IT security tools and configurations for compliance with established policies.

Training and Awareness:

• Conduct IT security awareness training and broadcast security bulletins on best practices and active threats.

Collaboration:

• Work with external vendors on penetration testing and vulnerabilities assessment.
• Assist in internal and external audits related to information security.

Your Role as Senior Cybersecurity Analyst:You will be responsible for proactively identifying and addressing cybersecurity risks to ensure the integrity, availability, and confidentiality of healthcare systems. By leveraging your expertise in threat analysis, vulnerability management, and security tools, you will play a pivotal role in protecting sensitive data and maintaining compliance. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to strengthen the overall security posture of the organization.

Requirements

What our client is looking for,

Must-Have Criteria:

• Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst or in a similar role.
• Expertise in Active Directory (AD), Azure Hybrid platforms, and cloud architecture.
• Strong knowledge of hardening networks, IT infrastructure, cloud security, and API gateway security.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing, threat analysis, and mitigating network vulnerabilities.
• Proficiency in Windows, Linux, and other operating systems.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes architecture and DevSecOps principles within the SDLC.
