What You Will Do

• Build and roll out trading algorithms and the related infra.
• Develop, test, and implement systematic trading strategies across multiple asset classes including but not limited to global equities and/or ETFs, futures, currencies and options
• Optimize trading algorithms through continuous monitoring and enhancements.
• Hands on trading and execution. Manage live portfolio risk daily to ensure the portfolio operates within defined risk limits.
• Explore new strategies through research and analysis of the latest market trends

Requirements

Who You Are

• A strong background in Quantitative Research/Trading, Statistics, Mathematics or Data Science, Masters and PhDs are desirable.
• Sound knowledge of and a passion for financial market trends, investment/risk management, trading strategies, algo trading, statistical models and signal generation.
• Strong technical ability and proficiency in Python, C++
• Proficiency in back-testing, simulation, and statistical techniques
• Data-mining skills paired up with data analysis skills. Previous experience operating with a large amount of tick/data would be beneficial
• Experience with a selected asset class, product, or region, demonstrating ability to develop, implement and execute investment strategies would be advantageous
• Self-driven and ambitious, but willing to learn and grow with the team in the space, comfortable with numbers, analytical, organized
• Mental discipline to solve complex problems and communicate effectively under pressure
• Good communication skill to ensure efficient and smooth team collaboration

Salary Range

RM 6,000.00 - RM 15,000.00
