Role Summary:

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to play a crucial role in supporting our US fintech client's technical initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge financial technology while being part of a collaborative, results-driven team. The ideal candidate will bring strong full-stack development expertise and a proven track record of delivering robust solutions.

Job Details:

• Location: Malaysia (Remote)
• Type: Full Time, 1-year contract initially
• Work Mode: 90% Remote (occasional in-person meetings)
• Working Hours: Flexible with occasional overlap with US business hours required
• Salary Range: RM 9,000 - RM 12,000

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead and contribute to full-stack development using .NET, MS SQL, and MVC patterns
• Support US-based client developers and stakeholders
• Participate in architectural decisions and system design
• Debug complex technical issues and provide solutions
• Ensure code quality and maintain high attention to detail
• Collaborate with international team members across time zones
• Attend key meetings during US business hours when required

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of software development experience
• Strong expertise in .NET framework and MS SQL
• Proven experience with MVC design patterns
• Architecture and system design background
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
• Strong English communication skills
• Must be a Malaysian citizen and resident
• Experience working with international clients (preferred)
• Flexibility to occasionally adjust working hours for US time zone overlap
