Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Back-End Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of robust back-end services and APIs that serve cloud servers, mobile applications, and web platforms. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Software engineering, AI, and PMO) in Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan while working remotely.

• Type: Full Time/Contract
• Work Mode: Remote
• Salary Range: RM 8,000 - RM 15,000

• Development of back-end services and APIs to cloud server, Mobile and Web;
• DevOps automation;
• Performance testing, capacity planning and scalability engineering;
• Management of relational databases such as MySQL and Postgres;
• Writing test automation;
• Scripting;
• Management of AWS or similar cloud based backend infrastructures;
• Defining best practices and guidelines for our backend engineering.

Requirements

Qualifications & Job Requirements:

Experience:

• At least 3 to 5 years of back-end related development experience;

Education:

• Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines or above

Technical Skills:

• Experienced with JSON, Graphql, Node.js;
• Strong respect for Databases both SQL and non-SQL;
• Experience with MySQL or Postgres and MongoDB;
• Experience using Digital Ocean, AWS, or Google Cloud.

Industry Knowledge:  

• Experience in Gen AI or machine learning-focused company will be an advantage 

Soft Skills:

• Experience working remotely with teams across multiple countries.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Salary Range

RM 8,000.00 - RM 15,000.00
