Role Summary:

We are expanding our technical team and looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer with strong Unity game engine expertise and backend skills in JavaScript and/or Python. • Work Mode: On-site (Flexible to WFH)
• Salary Range: RM 10,000 - RM 15,000

Key Accountabilities:

1. Front-End Development with Unity:

• Develop and optimise the front-end architecture of virtual performances within Unity to ensure smooth rendering and seamless user interaction.
• Implement interactive 3D environments, real-time gesture controls and animation triggers during live streams.
• Collaborate with 3D artists and AI teams to integrate assets and ensure visual consistency.
• Build UI/UX elements that enhance fan engagement, including live gifting interactions, dynamic overlays, and responsive animations.

2. Backend Development and System Optimisation:

• Design, develop and maintain the backend infrastructure using JavaScript and Python for performance-critical systems.
• Create APIs and microservices that connect Unity front-end interactions with backend logic and databases.
• Optimise real-time data handling to ensure minimal latency during live streaming sessions.
• Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and ensure uptime during peak streaming events.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration and Feature Development:

• Work closely with AI engineers, product managers and UX designers to align technical execution with product vision.
• Integrate AI-driven features such as audio-to-animation, gesture recognition, and interactive dance routines into the product.
• Participate in product ideation and iteration, contributing new ideas to enhance user engagement and retention.

4. Real-Time Streaming and Gaming Experience:

• Develop interactive streaming features (e.g., user-triggered actions, in-stream events) to increase fan engagement.
• Monitor and optimise live streaming performance to ensure smooth delivery and high-quality broadcasts.
• Apply best practices from the gaming industry to create interactive, immersive digital experiences.

Requirements

Key Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in full stack development with strong front-end and back-end skills.
• Proficiency in Unity game engine for building interactive 3D experiences and live stream-ready front ends.
• Strong coding skills in JavaScript and Python.
• Experience integrating AI models, streaming elements or APIs into front-end systems.
• Knowledge of game development pipelines or prior experience in the gaming industry is a big plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimise complex live-streaming systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in gaming, Vtubing or virtual entertainment.
• Familiarity with real-time 3D rendering and performance tuning in Unity.
• Experience with live streaming platforms and audience engagement tools.
• Passion for building next-gen digital experiences with AI and interactive technologies.

Salary Range

RM 10,000.00 - RM 15,000.00
