The Role:

We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer who is passionate about working on cutting-edge AI/ML technologies and eager to contribute to our mission of building AI-driven organizations. This role focuses on backend development and infrastructure, with the opportunity to work on Large Language Models (LLMs), pipelines, and scalable backend solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python and Django Rest Framework (DRF)
• Optimize and manage relational databases, with a strong focus on PostgreSQL
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker for containerization
• Build and optimize LLM-based pipelines, and write prompts for LLMs
• Collaborate with frontend developers, AI/ML engineers, and data scientists to integrate solutions seamlessly
• While not required, you will have the opportunity to explore and implement Graph Databases (GraphDB, Neo4j, etc.) and vector databases for AI-driven use cases
• You may also be asked to explore and work with AWS services for deployment and infrastructure management
• In addition, you will have the chance to explore agent frameworks and multi-agent systems to develop next-gen autonomous AI agents

Requirements

Required Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and Django Rest Framework (DRF)
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL and relational databases
• Experience in deploying applications with Docker
• Familiarity with writing and optimizing prompts for Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Ability to build and maintain pipelines incorporating LLM prompting

Required Experience:

• 3 years or more of backend development experience (2 years with an outstanding portfolio will be considered)

Bonus Points:

• Experience working with Graph Databases (e.g., GraphDB, Neo4j) and vector databases (e.g., Chroma)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services for deployment and infrastructure management
• Familiarity with agent frameworks and multi-agent systems

Salary Range

RM 8,000.00 - RM 12,000.00
